We are currently testing OJS a one server and are getting ready to go live.
I need to move the ojs database from one server to another.
Is there an FAQ or document that describes how this is done or is it merely a matter of moving the database from one mySQL server to another.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello nfeasey,
To move an OJS 2.x installation from one server to another:
- Move the database using whatever server administration toolset (e.g. mysqldump) you like; no special steps are required.
- Move the OJS installation directory
- Move the OJS files directory (its location is configured in config.inc.php)
- Move the OJS public directory (its location is configured in config.inc.php)
- Update the locations of the files and public directories in config.inc.php, if required
- Update the base_url in config.inc.php, if required
Ensure that you maintain file attributes when moving the various directories and files.
Regards,
Alec Smecher

Ok then, as I suspected, it is very straight forward.
Thanks!
