Hi Paul,
You'll find installation instructions in docs/INSTALL, and an FAQ in docs/FAQ. You can also search the forum -- there have been a few threads on installing on Windows. Installation shouldn't be too different outside of *nix (which is what we test on and provide instructions for) but please note that you'll have to meet the minimum system requirements.
