Are you a Director, Presenter, Reviewer or Conference Manager in need of help? Want to talk to us about workflow issues? This is your forum.

This forum is meant for general questions about the usability of OCS from an everyday user's perspective: conference managers, presenters, and directors are welcome to post questions here, as are librarians and other support staff. We welcome general questions about the role of OCS and how the workflow works, as well as specific function- or user-related questions. What to do if you have general, workflow or usability questions about OCS:
1. Read the documentation
. We've written documentation to cover from OCS basics to system administration and code development, and we encourage you to read it.
2. take a look at the tutorials
. We will continue to add tutorials covering OCS basics as time goes on.
3. Post a question
. Questions are always welcome here, but if it's a technical question you should probably post to the OCS Technical Support
subforum; if you have a development question, try the OCS Development
I am wondering how to print the top navbar outside the main content area? I want the top navbar to stretch to each edge of the page rather than being restricted to the width of the main content area i.e. so it sits on top of both sidebars and main content area.
Any help would be great.

You'll have to make some changes to OCS' main stylesheet. The stylesheet can be found at styles/common.css; the rules you are looking to change are under Main Layout Elements. The edits you will have to make will differ depending on which version of OCS you are using; if get stuck, let us know which version you are using and we should be able to help.
Also, the best way to actually implement the changes is not to edit styles/common.css directly, but to look to it for reference. Create your own stylesheet with the edits you want, and then upload it. to upload a new stylesheet for a conference, log in as a Conference Manager, and under Website Management click the "Conference Style" section and upload from there.
