Hi,
i am a beginner and has installed the Harvester2. now i have exported the Marc data from my ILS, how can I do with the Marc data? or how can i use the Harvester2 to harvest the Marc data?

Hi xmu_chen,
Does your ILS support OAI? If so, there should be an OAI URL into your ILS that the Harvester can use to fetch data from it. Create an archive in the Harvester and give it the URL into your ILS.

I asked my ILS administrator, and he told me that ILS is unalle to support OAI:(
If i want to import the Marc data to Harvester to share the data, how many ways i can do it ?

The Harvester is an OAI-compliant harvester, meaning that you'll need an OAI data source. Harvesting protocols (e.g. OAI) are supported as plugins, so if you're handy with PHP, you may be able to implement a direct ingest -- but this will likely be more work than you had in mind.
