Add new Prepared Email/Template during plugin installation

Postby JohnGrobler » Tue Jun 12, 2012 3:17 am

Good day,

We're busy developing a new Generic Plugin for OJS. This plugin will have a function to email certain users by using a Prepared Email in OJS.

We would like not to create this Prepared Email for each OJS site manually, but the Generic Plugin should create the Prepared Email template on installation.

We've tried to use the getInstallEmailTemplatesFile() and getInstallEmailTemplateDataFile() functions, but the Prepared Email is not created in the database on Generic Plugin installation.

Is there documentation available or maybe an example of another plugin which creates a new Prepared Email on installation?
