how to retrive the journel id

Hai all,
how to get the jouranl id during submission.ie, if i need the particular journal id in some part of the submission how to retrive that..as we now the variable $journalid we can get the id's ..but after once we get into a particlar journal how to know the current journal one.

Hello Thomas,

If you're talking about modifying the Smarty templates, you can get the current journal ID using:

Code: Select all

{$currentJournal->getJournalId()}

If you want to get the current journal ID in OJS's PHP code, use:

Code: Select all

$journal =& Request::getJournal();
$journalId = $journal->getJournalId();
