Hi ushasharma84,

There's currently no virus-checking component or plugin with OJS, and as far as I know no one has integrated any sort of anti-virus functionality.

Cheers,
James

hi james
if currently no virus-checking component or plugin is available with OJS then how can we prevent malicious users to upload viruses and other types of files, as well as avoid transmission of corrupted and infected files on server.

Hi ushasharma84,

You (and everyone else, really) should be using anti-virus software at the personal computer level, rather than rely on web application software to do the check for you. You should also keep an eye out for malicious users of your OJS instance, who may try to upload malicious data. And as long as you have properly configured your directory and file permissions, there is no way that a malicious user could upload a file through OJS and execute it on your server.

Cheers,
James
