We are looking for an answer to solve DOI with the ONIX format like the CrossRef XML Export Plugin. Is anybody using the ONIX format for DOI’s.
Thanks for your help.

Best regards,

Hi A.Heller,

Could you give us more detail on the issue/workflow you are trying to address? ONIX has been on our radar for a while, but having a specific use case from you would help us in giving a more comprehensive answer.

Cheers,
James

Hi,

thanks for your request.

We are looking for an export from OJS in ONIX-XML schema like the CrossRef Export.
More detailed description about the ONIX format you will find here: http://www.editeur.org/97/ONIX-DOI-Regi ... n-Formats/
There are the interesting files ONIX_DOI_Serial_Article_v1.1.pdf and ONIX_DOIMetadata_1.1.zip.
This is necessary for DOI registration in Germany. Otherwise we have to create manually the XML-data.

Best regards,

Hello Ariane,
CeDiS, e-learning and multimedia competence center of Freie Universität Berlin, is planing to implement that. I don't know when this is going to happen (it depends on their funding) but it will be definitely provided to the community...
Best regards
