Automatic PDF conversion

I was just wondering if thereis any plugin available for OJS to atutomatically convert Word files and other files (images for example, which could be uploaded as supplementary files) into one PDF as a manuscript proof. This is already like an standard process in online applications that big publishers are using. There are many advantages to this I think I don't need to explain, one could be that the author will make sure that the editor and reviewers will see his/her approved version, no need for emailing back the author for a Figure, or a Tables' file, etc.

Hi Sina,

Yes, automatic file conversion is an area that we're currently working on, and PDF generation is one of the features (based on code from Lemon8-XML) that we're aiming to have included in OJS 2.3. The initial functionality will most likely focus on converting submitted manuscripts using Google Docs, but we're hoping to integrate other services as the 2.3.x line matures.
