Mysql to XML that is compatible with

Postby mark » Thu Nov 13, 2008 2:33 am

I'm developing a plugin and am thinking about installation now. During development, I added a couple of tables to the MySQL database. I'm now thinking about installation and found OJS/tools/dbXMLtoSQL.php which will do the trick... once I export the table to xml form. Which brings me to the question: How do I export the tables' schema into xml form that is readable by dbXMLtoSQL.php?

Hi Mark,

AFAIK, there's no way to convert from MySQL into the XML descriptor -- I'd suggest working in XML and then converting one-way to SQL when you need to.
