Article Title in Database

Postby marlonvanderlinde » Tue Sep 23, 2008 3:50 am

I am currently writing new reports as requested by some clients, and find myself doing a lot
of "needle in haystack" kind of searches for stuff in the database.

I just cannot seem to be able to find Article "title" in the database, in any of the article_ tables.
Where is this string stored, which table/field?

Kind regards

Hi Marlon,

Since OJS 2.2, we moved multilingual-capable fields into the article_settings table. To get the title of an article:
Code: Select all
SELECT a.article_id, s.locale AS title_locale, s.setting_name AS article_title FROM articles a, article_settings s WHERE a.article_id = s.article_id AND s.setting_name = 'title goes here';
This was done so that we could support metadata in any combination of languages.
