Convert text fields to web-safe codes

Perhaps the fields such as 'abstract' could have a 'use html' option to mimic the current behavior, and without it checked, the system should parse out special characters. A scientific journal may have many less/greaterthan symbols which would obviously cause issues if passed directly into the page output.

Hi ItsDan,

Could you provide a text example of what you are talking about? And perhaps provide the version of OJS you are using. While special characters (especially < and > of course) provided trouble in previous versions of OJS, they should display fine in 2.2.x. That is, those entities will be saved and displayed in a web-safe manner.

Please let me know if I'm missing something here as well.
