Bosnain Language Support Question

Postby ryandc99 » Mon Mar 24, 2008 7:32 pm

Hey Guys,
I'm new to OJS but had a quick question. How hard would it be to add support for Bosnian Language to OJS. I already have all of my texts in the Journals translated, I just need to add the main pages. How would I go about doing that? Is there any documentation for this type of endevaor? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Ryan,

You can view a list of current translations and translations-in-progress here:

There is also a page with instructions on translating OJS here:

We're looking at expanding our translating documentation shortly, but in the meantime that's what we have.

There is also a translation plugin that ships with OJS: if you can log in as a Journal Manager, you can find it under User Home -> System Plugins. We don't currently have any instructions on using it, but again, we will have some shortly. You can't currently use the translation plugin to create a new translation from scratch, but once you have even a partial translation ready to go, you can load it into the system and use the plugin to check what's missing.

I would also like to ask that if you do make any progress on translating OJS into Bosnian, to please keep us posted, and to share your translation with us as well. We aim to provide OJS in as many languages as possible, and greatly appreciate any help in that regard.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.
