I have an idea that would make our journal website better. A search function that shows users all the keywords used in the journal, where the user can check the topics of interest and then get the results that covers these. A journal like ours (a philosophical) could then define around 50 topics and the users could find different angles on these and avoid searches without results because of synonyms not used.
Just an idea!

This is what the Subject Classification metadata option should do.
If you have a thesaurus online, you can add the title and URL so that authors can search and view the correct keywords to use.
