Issues are ordered in the archive strictly by publication time. We would like either a facility to manually reorder these or to order the archive by date/volume/number. This would add much flexibility for those who are slowly including issues from formerly printed journals in the archive while at the same time trying to maintain an active online journal and it would also be useful for applications other than peer reviewed online journals. Of the two the reordering feature would probably be best due to the potential complexity of sorting the archive display on multiple keys.

Hi rm,
Manual re-ordering has been on our unofficial list for quite some time and is often requested by users. We'll try to sneak this into the next release; see
http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2492 for the Bugzilla entry.
Regards,
