import bibliography and bibliography formating

Postby libora » Tue Mar 25, 2014 4:02 am

Hallo, I have an idea. A lot of writers use bibliography managers as Zotero, Endnote, RefWorks etc. etc. etc. by writing theirs articles. From these biblio managers can be bibliography (used in article) exported into diferent format as bibtex, coins, RefWorks taget format etc. etc. etc. Is it possible to add to OJC these features:

1. import bibliography to OJC in different format
2. formating bibliography output by using CSL (citation style language) tempalte and citeproc CSL processor.

These features can little bit facilitate the work of authors and editors.

Hi libora,

Stay tuned in the coming months (?) for an announcement about our automated XML parsing strategy; this will help convert source documents (typically .docx and the like) into JATS XML, but will also include a workflow for bibliographies, including CSL-based bibliography output. It's not the specific import from Zotero (et al) that you suggest, but will be a large step along the way.
