What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

Postby sebelk » Fri Apr 26, 2013 8:32 am

Hi,

When I ask to reset password the mail I receive in spanish has the subject: "ConfirmaciXXn de restablecimiento de la contraseXXa" where the right subject would be "Confirmación de restablecimiento de la contraseña"

Database was created by:

Code: Select all

Re: Wrong Characters in Reset Password mail (almost solved)

Postby sebelk » Mon Apr 29, 2013 7:19 am

Well, now is "almost" fixed I did run

Code: Select all
for i in $(mysql -s -e "show tables" ojs );do mysql --verbose -e  "ALTER TABLE $i  CONVERT TO CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci" ojs  ;done

And now it shows subject as:

"[] Confirmación de restablecimiento de la contraseña"

Do you note the "[]" , it's not a terrible problem, but I wonder if is it right that it appears?

Thanks in advance

Hi sebelk,

Do you have initials configured in your Journal Setup page 1?
