Hi.
I am using Version 2.3.6 of Open Journal Systems. On the UNIX server for my online journal, I removed the directory 'uploads' and its contents from the directory 'ojs'. However, uploads to the journal still are listed on the website. For example, there are long listings of uploads on the pages editor/submissions/submissionsUnassigned, editor/submissions/submissionsInReview, editor/submissions/submissionsInEditing and editor/submissions/submissionsArchives of the journal website. (The uploaded files have been removed, but the listings for the uploads remain.)
I was wondering how I can get rid of these listings. I am managing a transition from an old version of the online journal to a new version. These uploads had been previously transferred to the new version of the journal. I want to completely remove the uploads and their listings from the new version before transferring updated versions of uploads from the old version.
I appreciate your help.
Thank you,
metricgravity

Hi metricgravity,
To delete submissions as Editor, you need to first send each to the Archive. From the Archive listing, you'll have the option to delete each submission. Note that it'll probably complain (harmlessly) about the missing files; it doesn't expect you to have removed them already.
