regrets to a request display in active status

regrets to a request display in active status

If a reviewer has sent regrets to a request to review, it still shows on the "active" part of that reviewer's status. Over time that becomes somewhat misleading to the editors who are assigning reviewers. Is there a way to have the regrets removed from active?
