Currently our journal is subscription-based for institutional and personal subscribers, but we are considering converting all of our personal subscribers to open access and leave institutional access as is. What settings in OJS will have to be modified to accomplish this?
Further, if we were to go open access for all subscribers, what settings would be need to be changed?

Hi Charlie,
One way to go about this would be to create a new subscription type for individuals; it would be free of charge and non-expiring. Individuals could then subscribe or be subscribed via this new type and have access to your subscription/closed content, which would need to remain so at an issue and article-level if you'd still like to maintain institutional subscribers.
