What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

I'm getting errors in the log that I'd like to get rid of. i am running OJS
One common error turning up is

] [error] [client] NOTICE: Undefined offset: 1 (/var/www/journals/lib/pkp/lib/adodb/drivers/adodb-postgres7.inc.php:116)
[Thu Sep 13 11:33:06 2012] [error] [client removed] NOTICE: Undefined offset: 1 (/var/www/journals/lib/pkp/lib/adodb/drivers/adodb-postgres7.inc.php:116)
[Thu Sep 13 11:33:06 2012] [error] [client removed] NOTICE: Undefined offset: 1 (/var/www/journals/lib/pkp/lib/adodb/drivers/adodb-postgres7.inc.php:116)

The stack trace that immediately follows this is;

ojs2 has produced an error\n Message: WARNING: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/journals/lib/pkp/lib/adodb/adodb.inc.php:377)\n In file: /var/www/journals/lib/pkp/classes/template/PKPTemplateManager.inc.php\n At line: 296\n Stacktrace: \n File: (unknown) line (unknown)\n Function: PKPApplication->errorHandler(2, "Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/journals/lib/pkp/lib/adodb/adodb.inc.php:377)", "/var/www/journals/lib/pkp/classes/template/PKPTemplateManager.inc.php", 296, Array(7))\n File: /var/www/journals/lib/pkp/classes/template/PKPTemplateManager.inc.php line 296\n Function: header("Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8")\n File: /var/www/journals/pages/article/ArticleHandler.inc.php line 229\n Function: PKPTemplateManager->display("article/article.tpl")\n File: (unknown) line (unknown)\n Function: ArticleHandler->view(Array(1), Object(Request))\n File: /var/www/journals/lib/pkp/classes/core/PKPRouter.inc.php line 370\n Function: call_user_func(Array(2), Array(1), Object(Request))\n File: /var/www/journals/lib/pkp/classes/core/PKPPageRouter.inc.php line 266\n Function: PKPRouter->_authorizeInitializeAndCallRequest(Array(2), Object(Request), Array(1), False)\n File: /var/www/journals/lib/pkp/classes/core/Dispatcher.inc.php line 129\n Function: PKPPageRouter->route(Object(Request))\n File: /var/www/journals/lib/pkp/classes/core/PKPApplication.inc.php line 180\n Function: Dispatcher->dispatch(Object(Request))\n File: /var/www/journals/index.php line 65\n Function: PKPApplication->execute()\n Server info:\n OS: Linux\n PHP Version: 5.1.6\n Apache

In previous PKS posts this error is blamed on (int) casting however inspection of the possible php code segments, they seem to have the correct cast.
Any suggestions as what to check would be appreciated.
