Hi there,
I am trying to make adjustments to the CSS of OJS, but whenever I make changes to the common.css and upload it, the layout of the page becomes distorted. I am not even making layout changes, I am only trying to change colours. Please see the image below:

Is it possible that the CSS file I am using is out of date or something? Please advise.
Thanks,
Amy

Hi Amy,
You should only be uploading a stylesheet that overrides the specific classes that you want to change, rather than uploading a modified copy of the entire common.css.

Oh and one more thing? If I wanted to create a div around the content of the pages - so that I could have a grey background (the body) and a white block containing the content (the div), would I need to change this in the Smarty templates?

Oh, never mind I just realised that the content is already enclosed in a 'main' div.
Thanks Alec.
