Import users error

Dear OJS community,
in these days I had troubles importing users from a OJS journal to another.
The problem was that, after the first succesful import, I discovered that not every all the users were imported,
and so I exported the XML list of the ones still missing.
The strange thin was that the import was apparently succesful (or so said the system),
but the users were not there.

I then discovered the issue:
all the username were the same of previous users, so the system did not overwrite those.
The problem though was just that there was no warning or error message,
and I had to figure out by myself.

I hope this is a small bug to solve.
