2.2 -> 2.3.7 - Lost data issue

I just upgraded from OJS 2.2 -> 2.3.7 by the full package upload method (don't have access to command line). Everything went smoothly and the upgrade looked successful... however, on delving deeper the AUTHORS and REVIEW data doesn't show in the articles being worked on. Everything else is there... title, date, etc... just those data fields are not showing. Any ideas how to rectify this?

For now have reverted to the original installation.
