What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:
1. Search the forum

to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

Dear OJS support team,
When we press the search button and provide proper search criteria, search does not work and returns no results despite the fact that we have uploaded articles that fit the search criteria? any idea on what is going wrong?

Have you tried rebuilding the OJS search index with the script in the tools directory? From inside of your base OJS directory, you can run:

There are also configuration options in the search section of your config.inc.php file that specify paths to various tools for extracting text from different file formats. Perhaps this area needs to be configured.
