What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

How do you make old issues visible?

Postby OneKlaus » Mon Jun 04, 2012 11:25 pm

Hi!

Our journal is at https://ojs.hh.se/index.php/JISIB

When you publish a new issue, the link to the old articles/issue disappers/is substituted. This is a problem when ex. google scholar links to the same page but cannot find old articles. How can I make the old articles stay/accessible?

Thanks.

Hi Klaus,

I'm assuming that you mean the Table of Contents on the home page changes -- this is as it should be, as the home page only usually ever displays the current issue. You can find your older issues in your "Archives" page here: https://ojs.hh.se/index.php/JISIB/issue/archive. You don't need to worry about Google Scholar: we work closely with Google Scholar so that OJS journals work well with it; it knows exactly where to find your content, and does not require the home page to find it.

Cheers,
James
