Dear ,
I would like to know how I can turn the uploading of the original article (step 3 in the system) into an obligatory step, so that the submission will only be concluded by the user if he/she successfully uploads the file(s) during step 3.
I use version 2.2.3.

Hi Jaqueline,
In newer versions the file upload is still not mandatory, but if the user forgets to upload the file a warning is displayed and the author is required to confirm their intentions. If that's enough, I'd suggest upgrading.
