What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:
1. Search the forum
. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page
or from our Google Custom Search
, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend
searching the forum for said error.
2. Check the FAQ
to see if your question or error has already been resolved.
3. Post a question
, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion
subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development
can you tell me how i change the defualt email that is getting sent out....no matter what, a new user registering with the journal, or trying to go through the review process its always the change password email.

That's odd -- have you edited the emails that ship with the system? If you haven't, try manually resetting the emails to their defaults. To do this:
- Log in as Journal Manager
- Go into Perpared Emails (or Emails, depending on your version of OJS)
- Click "Reset all templates" at the bottom of the page
Note that if you have modified the email templates, your changes will be deleted
If this doesn't solve the problem or if you've already customized the emails and don't want to lose your changes, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
and I'll look into your situation in more detail.
