Hi all,
I had a similar problem being unable to view embedded pdf files in Internet Explorer, but it worked fine in Firefox and Chrome. The problem for me is I'm using 64-bit Internet Explorer version 9 - 64-bit versions of IE don't allow pdf files to be viewed embedded in web pages. One more reason why I hate IE, but some of our readers use it so this problem might crop up for them. The solution is for them to either use a different browser, or within IE click the "download this pdf file" link in the bottom-left to download the pdf outside a web page.
