I get the following error after what seems to otherwise be a successful install when I try to load up the OJS site: "Fatal error: Call to a member function getVersionString() on a non-object in /home/interdis/public_html/ojs/ojs-2.3.0/lib/pkp/classes/template/PKPTemplateManager.inc.php on line 141"
I have previously successfully installed OCS (
www.interdisciplinarythemes.org/ocs) on the same server, after first figuring out how to manually populate the database and configure the config.inc.php file. As far as I can tell, I have done everything the same way as with OCS (though I installed OCS in the spring and my memory is a little fuzzy on details) and I am now unsure about what the issue may be. Ideas? Thanks.

Problem solved. I had been trying to install version 2.3.0. When I installed 2.2.3 I had little trouble getting it loaded and working. Because of the server setup I am using I need to do a manual install, but that was no big issue to sort out with some patience.
