What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:
1. Search the forum

or from our Google Custom Search

searching the forum for said error.
2. Check the FAQ
to see if your question or error has already been resolved.
3. Post a question

subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development
I would like to know if there is any possibility to send an automatic e-mail when an author completes a submission. This e-mail should be sent to the section editor responsible for the section of the new submitted article (if there is a section editor assiged to this section). I know that there's the possiblity to send an automatic e-mail to the journal's primary contact or/and to a specified address, but not to a Section Editor.
I think that would be interesting to avoid the Section Editors entering to the website to check out if there are new submissions of their section.

Aside from the automatic emails you mentioned, there is currently no way to send automatic emails on the completion of author submission.
