What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

Hello,

I installed OJS several times in the odd server, but now I want to install 2.2 on another server and I have problems.

After configuring, uploading and give, then I will address http://www.web.es ojs and I redirect http://www.sigil.es/ojs/index.php/index ... ex/install ... (infinity)

I am going to link http://www.web.es/ojs/pages/install and get this:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function import() in /homepages/43/d230270104/htdocs/ojs/pages/install/index.php on line 18

Cheers.

Hi vlilloh,

It sounds like you've got a non-standard PHP installation. A few things to check first:
  • Make sure your base_url is properly set in your config.inc.php configuration file
  • Try turning on the disable_path_info option in your config.inc.php
If those don't get you anywhere, let me know and I'll see what else I can find. If possible, it would help for you to give me access to your PHP info. To do this, create a file (e.g. called tmp.php) in your OJS installation directory, and put the following code in it:
Code: Select all
<?php phpinfo(); ?>
Send me the URL to it (via private message would be best) and I'll do a little investigation.

It worked with:

    - Try turning on the option in your disable_path_info config.inc.php

Thanks

Cheers.
