What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

CMS plug in error

Postby jn122 » Fri Jan 04, 2008 6:22 am

Hi all

Wondering if anyone can help shed some light on this error message:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at C:\xampp\htdocs\xampp\jms\plugins\generic\cmsRSS\CmsRssPlugin.inc.php:95) in C:\xampp\htdocs\xampp\jms\classes\template\TemplateManager.inc.php on line 233

Occurs when the static page links added through the CMS plug iin are activated.

Hi jn122,

Can you provide a bit more detail on the circumstances -- specifically, on which page(s) does this error show up; is there anything else of note showing up with the error (probably not); and is the CMS content being displayed properly, aside from the error itself, of course?

Cheers,
James

Hi James

Thanks so much for the reply - I have had some luck with the problem - without looking under the hood in search of an answer I disabled a range of other plug-ins in case it was a conflict of some kind and disabling the CMS RSS feed plug-in solved the problem. To answer your question, the CMS content was being displayed correctly save the insertion of the error message above the template.

Thanks
