Hi enri,

The SQL query used to fetch submissions for the Editor's "In Review" list is implemented in classes/submission/sectionEditor/SectionEditorSubmissionDAO.inc.php in the getUnfilteredSectionEditorSubmissions function. This function is also used for the other Section Editor submission lists, so it'll change their ordering as well. However, ordering by Section Editor will probably not produce the results you're looking for, since multiple editors can be assigned and this will lead to undetermined sorting behavior.

In fact, I hold the same view as well; multiple SE exists.

Is there any already implemented scripts so that editors can see their own list of review submissions? When SE sorting is not possible, I can foresee this will be the next expectation editors may want to have, like the ojs ver 1.

Thanks

Hi enri,

I'd suggest using Section Editor roles for users who have a lot of assignments to manage. It's possible for users to be both Editors and Section Editors, and while Editor submission lists include all submissions, Section Editor submission lists will include only assigned submissions.
