What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:
1. Search the forum
. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page
or from our Google Custom Search
, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend
searching the forum for said error.
2. Check the FAQ
to see if your question or error has already been resolved.
3. Post a question
, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion
subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development
The system was running well with just one journal (say Journal1). Today we create one more journal (Journal2) in the same OJS installation that share some editors / section editors. For instance, we have a person who is editor in journal1 and section editor in journal2.
The problem is that once this person was enrolled as editor in journal2 he can not access the articles summary page of journal1 that he is section editor. To prove that the problem is the second enrollment, we unenrolled the person from journal2 an he was able to access the articles summary page.

I suspect you're running into OJS bug #2943, which is a known issue that has been corrected in CVS. You can try applying the patch at http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2943
. Another work-around is to create a different account for the other editorial role. This bug affects Section Editor roles only, so if it suits your organization, using Editor roles rather than Section Editor roles will not cause problems.
