What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:
1. Search the forum
. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page
or from our Google Custom Search
, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend
searching the forum for said error.
2. Check the FAQ
to see if your question or error has already been resolved.
3. Post a question
, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion
subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development
Now, I installed OJS 2.1.1. I have anumber of subscriptions and issues in my OJS 1.1.5 which I would wish to import into the new OJS 2.1.1 installation. At first, there was an error about db.php not found. In my OJS installation, I don't have include folder that the system mentions in the error message. I have includes/ folder instead. In this includes/ folder, there's no db.php file needed by the migration tool.
Now, i made the include/ directory and copied and renamed config.inc.php to db.php and stored in this new include/ folder.
I then ran the migration tool. The tool hangs immediately. And, there a semicolon at in the page. Does thie semicolon have any special meaning? What could be making the migration to hang.
Help Please. thanks in advance.
