1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

Permission Error "Cancel Request:" for "Reviewer A"

Postby sukhi » Fri Aug 17, 2007 12:54 am

One of my Editor has reported

"When I click "Cancel Request:" for "Reviewer A", in
[http://ijmi.org/index.php/ijmi/editor/submissionReview/4] the following
URL comes after "send" or "Skip email" both the options:-
and displays:-
You don't have permission to access
/index.php/ijmi/editor/cancelReview/send on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an
ErrorDocument to handle the request.
However, I could cancel another Reviewer for the same article today itself."

What could be the problem?

Hi Sukhdev,

Can you check your error log to see if anything appears there?

Sorry, taking time for checking error log. Being the Executive Editor of this society journal I
helped it in adopting OJS. Till yesterday I did not had access to its log files. It is hosted on a commercial remote ISP which provides a "cPanel" to its clients. [Being used to a system administrator of directly controlled servers - It will take me some time used to "cPanel" :-) ].

I will email log file directly to you Alec.
