Forum rules
What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

Unable to view Reviewer's list of papers

Postby kalpana » Tue Jul 17, 2007 4:28 am

Hi,
We are working on a test OJS site.
I created an author, submitted a paper, assigned a section editor and a reviewer. When logged in as reviewer, i cannot view the list of papers assigned to the reviewer.

Thanks and regards

Hi kalpana,

As Editor, did you click on the mail icon to send a request email to the reviewer? Once the review request has been sent, the submission should appear in the Reviewer's list.

Thanks I will try that. Is there a way to disable the email notification mandate so it just automatically appears on the reviewer list.

Hi Kalpana,

The request email is a required step, because without it, there would be no notification to the reviewer instructing them to check their submission list. Typically reviewers don't participate on the site to the same degree as Editors or Authors, so notification is needed.
