What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:
1. Search the forum
. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page
or from our Google Custom Search
, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend
searching the forum for said error.
2. Check the FAQ
to see if your question or error has already been resolved.
3. Post a question
, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion
subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development
Is there a way for editors to create a list of potential articles or authors, sort of a "pre-publication" list of possible subjects?
We're trying to create a list of books to review and potential reviewers. It would be great if multiple editors could simply upload their lists to a single file.
One way, which is sort of clunky, is for editors to log in as authors and then enter each book/reviewer as an individual submission. We can create a section for them to put the submissions.
If there's a more streamlined or efficient way of doing this, please do tell.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Some users have installed additional programs to accompany OJS and manage some of the details like those you discuss. For example, a forum like phpBB or a wiki like Mediawiki would make a good accompanying space to store additional content and could include an Editors' section where planning for forthcoming issues could be conducted. Otherwise, a work-around like the one you suggest is probably best.
