Forum rules
What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

Hi,

Is it possible to see in a log file whether a journal is being accessed and archived by the LOCKSS system?

Thanks

Hi Renate,

You can see if the LOCKSS manifest has been requested by watching for "lockss" in the URLs in your web server access log. Depending on your LOCKSS box's configuration, you'll probably also see a user agent that mentions LOCKSS.

FYI, we're working with the LOCKSS team to get an OJS 2.x plugin shipped with LOCKSS. There is an OJS plugin in the current LOCKSS release, but it's intended for use with OJS 1.x.

LOCKSS and RSS feeds

Postby renatem » Tue Jul 10, 2007 10:21 am

Thanks for the information. We have setup our LOCKSS box a week ago and now have to upgrade to release 250 now.
I am still struggling with RSS feed buttons. I have downloaded (http://pkp.sfu.ca/cvs/cvsweb.cgi/ojs2/p ... c/webFeed/) and installed the latest files just now, and now the configuration of RSS feed has changed. I enabled it, but when I click on plugin/generic/webFeed/settings I get the following error message:

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: formvalidatorpost in /var/www/html/ndj/plugins/generic/webFeed/SettingsForm.inc.php on line 36

Where should this class be?
Thanks

Hi Renate,

You're seeing that error message because the current CVS version of the feed plugin references code that's not shipped with OJS 2.1.1. The best way to work around it for now is to find and comment out the following line in plugins/generic/webFeed/SettingsForm.inc.php:
Code: Select all
$this->addCheck(new FormValidatorPost($this));
