Forum rules
What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

change of contexts in reading tools

Hi Alec

We have identified and changed most of the contexts within the humanities reading tools to suit our journals' areas of interest. We have created new entries, inserted the relevant urls and written a brief bit of content for each context.

The issue for us now is to create the relevant search link. Is there a way to do this other than to create a search for each url and replace the search term with the correct placeholder? It seems laborious to do this for about 50 contexts. I wondered whether there was some shortcut.

Cheers

Hi Bobby,

Unfortunately, it's a manual process -- most forms aren't built with this kind of interoperability in mind, and in fact, some use tricks to make it more difficult.

Hi Alec

That's what we suspected. Oh well, a nice soothing job for someone.

Cheers
