What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:
1. Search the forum

to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

Hi folks. We are having a stubborn problem trying to fix a user's email address. What appears to have happened is this: inadvertently, early in our getting used to the system, the user was entered twice (under slightly different names), with two different email addresses. Then one of these users was deleted; but the remaining user settings had the inappropriate email address. When we try to change the email address now, though, the operation is disallowed because OJS claims email address the user wants is already in use, even though a search of all users indicates that nobody has that address. Help!
