Forum rules
What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

Full text search of imported issues

Hi Alec

I run the tool 'rebuildSearchIndex.php' every month, but I noticed that the full text search of some issues do not return the title. The only difference between these issues and others (which return the results) to my knowledge is that these issues has been imported using issues import/export plugin. What is the problem with these issues?

This is to inform the forum that my previous post on 'Full text search of imported issues' indeed is not a bug of OJS. It was due to an error when we was preparing the xml files for importing back issues. Actually we forgot to set the mime_type attribute of galleys (to application/pdf), so the file_type field of the table article_files remained as NULL and will not be used by the rebiuldSearch tool.
