What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:
1. Search the forum
. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page
or from our Google Custom Search
, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend
searching the forum for said error.
2. Check the FAQ
to see if your question or error has already been resolved.
3. Post a question
, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion
subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development
Hi PKP Team,
Thanks in advance for your wonderful work.
I am trying to install the OJS system, however, after uploading it to the server the webpage says:
The requested document was not found on this server.
Web Server at thejust.org"
I have no idea what file is missing. What course of action would you suggest.

I've seen this before and if I'm not wrong seems like a permission problem. Check if the apache user is the owner and has complete permissions (775 at the most).

This looks to me like a PATH_INFO problem; you can either fix the problem by correcting your PHP and webserver configuration, or you can use an OJS work-around by turning on the disable_path_info option in config.inc.php. There's lots of information available on this forum by searching for PATH_INFO.
