Dear OJSers,
I'm trying to customize some of the content of an OJS 2.1.1 installation, adding some images to the footer area in Configuration > Layout.
Unfortunately, any images sent to the Document Navigator are only viewed by logged users, so that is useless.
How would the Manager do this if access to the server is not available??
I would recommend, if possible, to allow changing the permissions to a folder created in the document navigator.

Hi Ramón,
We'll eventually merge the public files directory into the private files directory, only the latter of which can currently be accessed using the Files Browser. In the meantime, some users have been able to circumvent this lack of access by creating a symbolic link to the public files directory from the private files directory. Once this is done, the files browser can upload files into the public files directory.
