Hi,
I have a Journal under OJS and I would like to upload an article to a past issue. How can I do that?
Does anyone have a sample XML template file??
Thanks a lot

Hi Guilherme,
You can schedule an article to an already-published issue at any time. The fastest way to add a single article to a published issue is this:
- Register your Editor account as an Author
- Using the Author interface, submit the PDF or HTML file as an article and enter metadata as necessary
- After the last step of the submission process, you'll be presented with a link that you can click to jump the article directly into scheduling.
- Using the Editor's interface, schedule the submission in an existing issue.

Thank you for the help!
Everything went fine, but now we have a problem.
All the previus journal issues were imported through a XML file. This is the first one that is published through the regular submission process.
When I Browse Author Index the author which I just uploaded the file shows twice in the listing. The articles associated to the author shows up doubled.
Please take a look here:
http://www.ies.ufpb.br/ojs2/index.php/i ... hInitial=G
The author Garcia shows up twice. It happend right after I imported the article using the steps presented previously (the first without using a XML file).
Please any help is welcome.
Best regards,
Guilherme

Hi Guilherme,
Check to make sure that the author's country is set to the same value for all articles; you may need to manually set the country for this author for each article that was imported via XML.

Dear Alec,
I edited the articles metadata and set the languages to "pt".
It did not work. Dunno what to do.The author´s articles still showing up twice.
I will be glad to let you enter the system to check it out if you wish. (

Any advice will be considered.

Dear Alec,
Do not consider my previous post.
You were absolutely right!
I changed the author's country right in the MySQL end now everything is fine.
Thanks for such good support!
