Stanford OJS Page Down

Postby jshap » Sat May 03, 2014 9:22 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble opening my OJS journal at intersect.stanford.edu. I think there might be some sort of server error with our university's configuration.

The PHP info is here: http://ojs.stanford.edu/phpinfo.php

Adding: ini_set('display_errors', 'Off'); didn't work. I put the following in the .user.ini:
display_errors = Off
error_reporting = E_ALL & ~(E_STRICT|E_NOTICE)

I would appreciate any help that you can provide!

Jordan is talking about this page: http://ojs.stanford.edu/ojs/index.php/intersect

Which is giving these types of errors:

Hi Jordan,

This is probably caused by a new release of PHP which handles warnings differently. Can you try applying the attached patch from within the lib/pkp subdirectory? Please report back.

Thanks,

Turns out there was

error_reporting(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors', true);

Removing it solved the issue without needed to apply the patch. Do you think I should still apply it?

Hi Jordan,

Do you mean that there was a local modification to your OJS containing those lines? If so, remove them and never mind about the patch.
