What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

Table of Content: Article PDF link problem

Postby drvenkatesanj » Sun Apr 27, 2014 11:22 pm

Dear Friends,
We came up with our First Issue.
The Issue galley uploaded was working fine and from Table of content page is opening finely.

But the PDF links against each article is not working. Clicking them returns the page with the following display

"The requested URL /index.php/jphchem/article/view/10.14805/jphchem.2014.art3/pdf_3 was not found on this server"

Please suggest me to make the links to work.

Sincerely, VJ.

Hi VJ,

What version of OJS are you using? If your site is public, could you post or PM me the link?

Dear Alec,
Actually we entered doi data in public id box in the Table of content (before clicking publish button).
We tried by removing the doi from the box and now it started displaying the pdf file.
Is it right?
Sincerely,
VJ.

Hi VJ,

For DOIs you should use the DOI plugin rather than the public ID field.
