What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:1.
Search the forum. You can do this from the
Advanced Search Page or from our
Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we
especially recommend searching the forum for said error.
2.
Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.
3.
Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the

Hi there,
We have a need of creating new e-mails templates.
We have to fill a e-mail key, subject and body. Until here it's ok.
But where do we use those new e-mails?
Where should i put that e-mail key to send those new e-mails?

Hi fsilveira,
Adding custom email templates is primarily intended for adding new code to OJS; however, if you apply the patch at
http://research2.csci.educ.ubc.ca/cgi-bin/cvsweb/ojs2/templates/manager/emails/emails.tpl.diff?r1=1.25;r2=1.26 (which will be included in future releases), an email icon will be added to the "Prepared Emails" list that will allow you to compose an email using a template. You can also use the "Select Template" button when sending a message to an Editorial Team group.
Regards,
Alec Smecher
