What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

OJS 2.4.3 Subdomain Install Problem

Postby snmzclk » Wed Jan 15, 2014 6:41 am

I'm using OJS 2.4.2 on Windows 2008 server. I installed 2.4.3 in subdomain (like as C:\wamp\apps\ojs) and changed DocumentRoot in httpd.conf file ("c:/wamp/www/apps/ojs"). When I click my journal adress "\" backslash is otomaticly appirng in the adres line (like as http://localhost\/index.php). So it does'nt work. I tried other relase, there isn't any problem. This problem is only occuring at 2.4.3 release.

Do you have any solutions?

Dear Jason,

Thank you so much your message.

This patch https://github.com/MichaelThessel/pkp-lib/commit/76521043e2a583b0acd0cdb50ad39a66376b8424 fixed backslash problem in ojs installation URL.
